ABOUT US

Mountain View Medical is a walk-in clinic designed to provide accessible healthcare services to a poverty-stricken and underserved area. The clinic's adaptable payment model caters to both insured and uninsured patients, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent individuals from receiving necessary medical care. By accepting insurance and offering a sliding scale self-pay option, Mountain View Medical prioritizes healthcare accessibility for all members of the community.

Strategically located in an area that has historically lacked adequate healthcare services, Mountain View Medical fulfills a critical need for accessible medical attention. The clinic's focus on community health allows it to address the unique health challenges faced by residents, fostering a healthier population through tailored services and outreach initiatives. By combining a commitment to affordability with a deep understanding of local health issues, Mountain View Medical positions itself as a vital resource for the community it serves.

Services provided include treatment for acute illnesses, well exams, school/sports and DOT physicals, laboratory and diagnostic testing, as well as management of chronic health issues such as diabetes and hypertension.  We also offer a wide variety of weight loss and cosmetic treatments.

Vision

Mountain View Medical envisions a community where healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances. INSURANCE & PAYMENTS

Medicare Wellness visits: Medicare pays for an annual wellness visit.  This is not a physical exam (in the old fashioned sense), but a visit to go over past medical history, current medications, risks to the patient’s health and preventative measures.  This is paid by Medicare at 100% -- no cost to the patient.

Physical Exams: Most insurance companies cover an annual physical exam (excluding Medicare) at no cost to the patient.  This will include basic laboratory testing (complete blood count, cholesterol, comprehensive metabolic panel) as well as a urine analysis, blood pressure check, weight, vision and hearing testing.  It might include an electrocardiogram if covered by your insurance.

Office visit ($50.00):  The healthcare provider assesses the patient’s health, discusses any concerns or symptoms, conducts examinations, and any needed tests or treatments.

Urine dipstick test ($10.00):  analyzes samples of urine to detect the presence of various substances that can indicate a range of conditions.

Rapid Strep Test ($20.00):  a diagnostic test used to detect the presence of Group A Streptococcus bacteria, which are responsible for strep test.  This test takes 15 minutes to provide results.

HCG Pregnancy Test ($10.00):  Rapid pregnancy test that is used to confirm pregnancy.

Rapid Flu / Covid Test ($30.00):  a diagnostic test used to detect Influenza A, Influenza B, and Covid.  This test takes 20 minutes to provide results.
